World Oceans Day Event – Phillip Island

Come and celebrate World Oceans Day at Red Rocks Beach in Cowes, Phillip Island and be a Marine biologist for a day! You will learn all about the AMAZING marine life that live at Red Rocks Beach and how to identify marine life, as well as important facts about them and which ones you must avoid!  There will also be plenty of discussions and activities on how you can help protect our environment for a more sustainable future.

Set against a backdrop of impressive red rocks and climbing walls, Red Rocks beach is sheltered by bush and has plenty of rock pools to explore and discover.

Our workshop facilitator, Nadine, is an early childhood educator who has over 10 years experience working as an Education Ranger at the Phillip Island Nature Park. She has extensive knowledge of the marine life and local habitats that she passionately shares with the next generation of environmental protectors.

Ages: 3 – 12 years
