Phillip Island Marine Kids Program

  •  13/07/2018
     2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Set against a backdrop of impressive red rocks and climbing walls, Red Rocks beach is sheltered by bush and has plenty of rock pools to explore and discover. You will learn all about the AMAZING marine life that live at Red Rocks Beach and there will also be plenty of discussions and activities on how you can help protect our environment for a more sustainable future.

Come and join us for an afternoon of nature connection, rock pool exploration, bush walking and learning at Red Rocks Beach. Our nature based school holiday program offers you the best of nature play in a relaxed, supportive and positive environment. The children will learn important bush skills such as bush tucker, snake safety in summer, Indigenous history and all about the fascinating marine life at Red Rocks Beach through various activities, crafts, stories and games.

Research clearly shows that the more time your child spends in nature, the better they are prepared for school, both physically and emotionally.

Our workshop facilitator, Nadine, is an early childhood educator who has over 10 years experience working as an Education Ranger at the Phillip Island Nature Park. She has extensive knowledge of the marine life and local habitats that she passionately shares with the next generation of environmental protectors.

Ages: 4 – 12 years (places are limited to ensure small groups)

*Parents are responsible for their children at all times.
