  •  18/01/2024
     9:30 am - 11:30 am

Join us an adventurous afternoon exploring, playing and learning outdoors in nature at Newport Lakes Reserve in Newport.

In this workshop we will be creating and learning rope knots to make all sorts of wonderful things with ropes. Have you ever wanted to make the coolest rope swings from trees? Or a ladder to climb to your treehouse? Whether it’s swings, obstacle courses or cubbies. You’ll get a chance to explore your creativity and construct to your hearts content in this workshop.

Our Bush Kids program is for children aged 4 – 10 years and is specifically aimed at supporting children to develop important social, physical and emotional skills through hands-on learning and teaching them real-life bush survival and bushcraft skills.

Located at Newport Lakes Reserve, this workshop is run by Forest School Leader Penny.

Ages: 4 – 10 years

*Parents must stay and supervise their children at all times.
