Nature Detectives Workshop CERES

  •  23/01/2019
     9:30 am - 11:00 am

Do you have a curious child? A child that loves ADVENTURE, CLIMBING, DIGGING, BUILDING and searching for CLUES? Then this workshop is just for you! Come along and see what our Eco Explorers bush program is all about!

Put your detective hat on and follow the clues to learn how to identify and look for tracks, scats, bugs and spiders! There’s a scavenger hunt, some nature games and we’ll even visit the pond in search of water bugs.

Located at the popular Ceres Environment Park in Melbourne’s Brunswick East, families can also enjoy a visit to the CERES organic market, cafe and the nursery while there.

Join us for this hands-on workshop run by Adam.

Adam is the founder of Eco Explorers and has been delivering bush programs to families for over two years. He spent his childhood living and camping in the bush; climbing mountains, exploring rivers, learning to fish, track, make fires and to simplify… just ‘being’ at one in nature. Adam now hopes to share his childhood & adult experiences with the next generation to inspire a deep connection with nature. He is also a forest school leader and has a background in Outdoor Education.

*Parents are required to stay and are responsible for their child at all times.

Ages: 3 – 10 years
