Nature Detectives & Cubby Town!

  •  07/01/2019
     12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

Do you have a curious child? A child that loves ADVENTURE, CLIMBING, DIGGING, BUILDING and searching for CLUES? Then this workshop is just for you! Come along and see what our Eco Explorers bush program is all about!

We’ll go on a nature detective scavenger hunt, looking for clues to find the treasures hidden at Ceres! The children will be encouraged to use their bodies and pretend to be different animals, making sounds, bird calls and flapping their wings. Then on our return, we’ll be building nature cubbies! Let’s build, play and have plenty of adventures! There will be stories and lots of imaginative play.

This workshop is being run by Ashlee & Adam.

Our workshop facilitator Adam is the founder of Eco Explorers and has been delivering bush programs to families for over two years. He spent his entire childhood living and camping in the bush; climbing mountains, exploring rivers, learning to fish, track, make fires and to simplify… just ‘being’ at one in nature. Adam now hopes to share his childhood & adult experiences with the next generation to inspire a deep connection with nature. He is also a forest school leader and has a background in Outdoor Education.

Ashlee is a qualified and experienced, early childhood educator and forest school leader who has been working as a wilderness camp leader and as a theatre puppet maker for children for nearly 10 years. She has a passion for connecting children to nature and does so through creative activities, stories and games.

Ages: 3 – 8 years

*Parents are responsible for their child at all times.
