Mini Beasts Workshop CERES

  •  02/07/2019
     9:30 am - 11:00 am

Ignite your child’s creativity and love of nature with our Mini-beasts workshop! The children will learn all about the AMAZING world of mini-beasts through fun, creative and hands on activities. Located at the popular Ceres Environment Park in Melbourne’s Brunswick East, families can also enjoy a visit to the CERES organic market, cafe and the nursery while there.

The children will create their own minibeasts to take home using clay and natural/recycled materials. They will learn about life-cycles and even get to go on a BUG hunt to the pond with nets and buckets in search of water bugs and water critters to identify and scoop up. We’ll enjoy a game of ‘bug detectives’ on the way and see what we can find!

This workshop is run by Adam.

Adam is the founder of Eco Explorers and has been delivering bush programs to families for over two years. He spent his entire childhood living and camping in the bush; climbing mountains, exploring rivers, learning to fish, track, make fires and to simplify… just ‘being’ at one in nature. Adam now hopes to share his childhood & adult experiences with the next generation to inspire a deep connection with nature. He is also a forest school leader and has a background in Outdoor Education.

*Parents are required to stay and are responsible for their child at all times.

Ages: 3 – 8 years
