  •  05/01/2023
     10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join us for a morning of sensory play in nature in Mernda, where your child’s imagination is the limit as they get messy and creative in nature! Our Bush Play events include all our favourite bush playgroup activities where children have an opportunity to immersive themselves in nature play activities such as making mud pies and cooking up a storm in our bush kitchen, mixing and making potions and getting crafty with nature craft making station. Our workshop guarantees to be a child’s sensory delight as they immerse themselves in nature play, creativity and learning.

Eco Explorers supports children to develop important social, physical and emotional skills through hands-on learning and teaching them real-life bush survival and bushcraft skills.

Our program has been developed to give your child optimum opportunity to build their gross motor and physical skills through climbing, balancing, walking and fine motor skills during our craft activities. Research clearly shows that the more time your child spends in nature, the better they are prepared for school, both physically and emotionally.

This workshop is run by Bush Playgroup Facilitator, Ting.

Eco Explorers is an all weather outdoor program so wearing appropriate weather protection and clothing is important. Our program will only be cancelled in the event of an extreme weather warning; fire, storm, high temperatures and strong wind.

Ages: 1 – 6 years (siblings under 12 months are welcome to attend for free).

*Parents are responsible for their children at all times and are encourage to join in on the fun!
