     10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Delight your child’s senses with our water and ice sensory nature play workshop at located Gresswell Forest Wildlife Reserve in Macleod, perfect for keeping COOL in summer! Take in all the wonders of nature while your child plays to their heart’s content. Our Bush Play days offer you the best of nature play in a relaxed, supportive and positive environment.

We’ll have a variety of sensory activities set up from our small world ice play with polar bears, ice hammering in search of bugs, painting, mixing and creating potions and of course baking and creative play in our bush kitchen!

Eco Explorers supports children to develop important social, physical and emotional skills through hands-on learning and teaching them real-life bush survival and bushcraft skills.

Our program has been developed to give your child optimum opportunity to build their gross motor and physical skills through climbing, balancing, walking and fine motor skills during our craft activities. Research clearly shows that the more time your child spends in nature, the better they are prepared for school, both physically and emotionally.

This workshop is run by Bush Playgroup Facilitator, Ting.

Eco Explorers is an all weather outdoor program so wearing appropriate weather protection and clothing is important. Our program will only be cancelled in the event of an extreme weather warning; fire, storm, high temperatures and strong wind.

Ages: 1 – 6 years (siblings under 12 months are welcome to attend for free).

*Parents are responsible for their children at all times and are encourage to join in on the fun!
