Langwarrin School Holiday program – Ropes, Knots & Construction

  •  08/04/2024
     9:30 am - 11:30 am

Join us these school holidays and for nature play week 2024 for an adventurous morning exploring, playing and learning outdoors in nature at Langwarrin Flora and Fauna Reserve.

Our programs teach essential bush survival and bushcraft skills through hands on learning and nature based activities that are fun, engaging and promote self esteem, confidence, build resilience and most importantly encourage them to move and strengthen their bodies and connect with nature in a deep and meaningful way.

This workshop will focus on learning rope knots to create all sorts of wonderful things with ropes. Have you ever wanted to make the coolest rope swings? Or a ladder to climb to your treehouse? Whether it’s swings, obstacle courses or cubbies. You’ll get a chance to explore your creativity and construct to your hearts content in this workshop.

Children leave feeling proud of their accomplishments and learning new skills and if you want to extend their learning,  you can find further resources on our online store here.

This workshop is run by Bush Kids facilitator Nina.

Ages: 4 – 10 years

*Parents must stay and supervise their children at all times.
