Langwarrin Bush Play – Mud pies, Magic Potions & Nature Craft!

  •  12/04/2024
     10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join us for nature play week 2024 for a morning of getting ‘messy’ in nature making mud pies, magic potions and messy nature craft! Our Bush Play events bring include all our favourite nature play activities and children get to create and take home their very own nature craft! Our workshop guarantees to be a child’s sensory delight as they immerse themselves in nature play, creativity and learning at Langwarrin Flora and Fauna Reserve

At Eco Explorers Bush Programs, we incorporate hands-on, child-led learning and sensory play through a range of nature-based activities, nature crafts, storytelling, songs and a bushwalk focusing on movement, climbing and learning about the local flora and fauna.

Our program has been developed to give your child optimum opportunity to build their gross motor and physical skills through climbing, balancing, walking and fine motor skills during our craft activities. Research clearly shows that the more time your child spends in nature, the better they are prepared for school, both physically and emotionally.

This workshop is run by early childhood educator Shaney.

Bush play is an all weather outdoor playgroup so you need to make sure you bring appropriate weather protection and clothing. Our playgroup will only be cancelled in the event of an extreme weather warning; fire, storm, high temperatures and strong wind.

Ages: 1 – 6 years (siblings under 12 months are welcome to attend for free).

*Parents are responsible for their children at all times and are encourage to join in on the fun!
