Frankston Bush Kids – Boats, Knots & Creeks

  •  04/01/2024
     9:30 am - 11:30 am

Join our Melbourne school holiday program this January 2024 where we play, learn, explore and discover outdoors!

Our Forest School teaches children essential bush survival and bushcraft skills through hands on learning and nature based activities that are fun, engaging and promote self esteem, confidence, build resilience and most importantly encourage them to move and strengthen their bodies and connect with nature in a deep and meaningful way.

During this hands-on workshop children will be learning basic bush survival skills such as learning rope knots and building boats to take on our bush walk and down to the creek!  Along the way, we’ll discover and learn all about the flora and fauna and find some bugs!

Located at Sweetwater Creek Reserve in Frankston, this workshop is run by Nina, an early childhood educator and kindy facilitator.

Ages: 4- 10 years

*Parents must stay and supervise their children at all times.
