Join us for a special afternoon around a warm fire, cooking popcorn, crafting and sharing stories.  Held in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges  at Doongalla Picnic Ground in The Basin. 

Research clearly shows that the more time children spend outdoors, then better they are prepared for school and life. Spending time outdoors is essential for normal development and a healthy childhood.

Our bush programs enable children to be kids, to get muddy and dirty and learn through real hands on experiences. We provide opportunities for families to completely immerse themselves in the outdoors, which is an excellent way to improve mental health, physical wellness and build strong relationships with others.

Forest School is an all weather outdoor playgroup so you need to make sure you bring appropriate weather protection and clothing. Children and adults must wear closed footwear when walking in the bush, sun hats, sunscreen, wet weather gear, plenty of snacks and water and even a change of clothes for those muddy play days! Our playgroup will only be cancelled in the event of an extreme weather warning; fire, storm, high temperatures and strong wind.

Ages: 4 – 10 years (siblings under 12 months are welcome to attend for free).

*Parents are responsible for their children at all times and are encourage to join in on the fun!
