Come and join us to learn the art of fire lighting and how to use a fire steel safely where children will learn about the importance of fire, what materials it needs, fire safety and then they’ll all get a chance to use a fire steel and light their own fire.

If your child loves camping and the outdoors, then this fire lighting /making workshop is for them. There will even be time to toast marshmallow!

This workshop is run by Bush Kids Facilitator Jess in The Basin in the Dandenong Ranges. 

Eco Explorers is an all-weather outdoor program so you need to make sure you bring appropriate weather protection and clothing. Our program will only be cancelled in the event of an extreme weather warning; fire, storm, high temperatures and strong wind.

*Parents are required to stay and are responsible for their children at all times.
