Come and join us for a fun morning of nature connection and learning, nature art & craft activities, story, mud kitchen play, song and bushwalking at Currawong Bush Park in Doncaster!  Our play days offer you the best of nature play in a relaxed, supportive and positive environment. Our playgroup offers plenty of sensory play activities for your child to enjoy and as well as nature craft activities and loose parts play in our popular mud kitchen. The sessions are relaxed and child led and parents are encouraged to follow their child’s lead.

Our bush playgroup facilitator, Ashlee is a qualified and experienced, early childhood educator who has been working as a wilderness camp leader and as a theatre puppet maker for children for nearly 10 years. She has a passion for connecting children to nature and does so through creative activities, stories and games.

Our program has been developed to give your child optimum opportunity to build their gross motor and physical skills through climbing, balancing, walking and fine motor skills during our craft activities. Research clearly shows that the more time your child spends in nature, the better they are prepared for school, both physically and emotionally.

Ages: 1 – 6 years (siblings under 12 months are welcome to attend for free).
