Join us for a morning of sensory play in nature at  Dandenong Creek Trail in Heathmont where your child’s imagination is the limit as they get messy, muddy and creative in nature!

Our Bush Play events include all our favourite bush playgroup activities where children have an opportunity to immersive themselves in nature play activities such as making mud pies in our bush kitchen, building cubbies and getting crafty with nature craft making station. Our workshop guarantees to be a child’s sensory delight as they immerse themselves in nature play, creativity and learning.

This workshop is run by Claire, who is a trained in Steiner Early Childhood Education and their Craft curriculum. She is passionate about children experiencing the natural world through play based learning and story telling.

Bush playgroup is an all weather outdoor playgroup so you need to make sure you bring appropriate weather protection and clothing. Children and adults must wear closed footwear when walking in the bush, sun hats, sunscreen, wet weather gear, plenty of snacks and water and even a change of clothes for those muddy play days! Our playgroup will only be cancelled in the event of an extreme weather warning; fire, storm, high temperatures and strong wind.

Ages: 1 – 6 years (siblings under 12 months are welcome to attend for free).
