Forest School Woodworking Workshop – Reindeers & Snowman!

  •  08/12/2018
     10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Come and join us for an afternoon using tools and wood to create a reindeer or snowman decoration for your home or as a gift!

This workshop is being held at CERES Environmental Park in Brunswick East. An easy and handy inner north location with an organic market, a nursery, cafe, live music, a wonderful playspace and even community gardens for the whole family to enjoy.

The children will get to use a variety of tools such as a saw, hammers and drill and learn how to safely use them to create their very own reindeer, snowman or wood slice Christmas hanging ornament.

All of this to take home for your nature table.

These nature inspired decorations make a thoughtful and handmade gift for that special someone in your child’s life. Perhaps a grandparent, special Aunt/Uncle, teacher or friend. At Eco Explorers, we believe that children hold the future of the planet in their hands so we hope to inspire them to take care of it and respect it. We do our best to reduce our environmental impact by not using plastic and recycling, reusing and reducing our waste where possible.

Our programs aim to inspire creativity, a natural curiosity and enriching sensory play experience while following your child’s interests at all times. We also ensure that children learn to use their bodies so that they develop strength, good balance and coordination while learning to take safe risks with guidance and support from the educators.
