Bush Puppetry Workshop

  •  05/10/2017
     10:00 am - 12:30 pm

Ignite your child’s creativity and love of nature through art, craft and story telling with our Bush puppetry school holiday workshop. Located at the popular Ceres Environmental Park in Melbourne’s Brunswick East, we’ll be set up in the African village.

The children will create their own Bush puppet using natural materials and develop a story based on themes found in nature. There will be lots of story telling and an opportunity for the children to create and perform their own play.

Our workshop facilitator, Ashlee is an early childhood educator who has worked in various theatre productions as a puppet designer and has over ten years experience working with children making outdoor performances and connecting them with their land and nature. All materials used will be natural and recycled so children will have to use their creativity and imagination to build their own Bush puppets.

Ages: 3 – 12 years

*Parents are required to stay with children.

We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.
