Art in Nature for Preschoolers

  •  18/01/2019
     10:00 am - 11:30 am

Come and join us for a fun morning filled with nature art and sensory play activities!

We’ll have a range of sensory nature art activities on offer such as our paint lab (mixing and crushing to make paint!), charcoal drawing,  a construction corner for creating using clay, herbs and items from our loose parts baskets, perhaps even some puppet making. Of course, our mud kitchen play is always popular with the little ones who enjoy cooking up a storm of mud pies, mud cakes and perhaps even some delicious mud ice-cream. Yum!

The group will also enjoy a bush walk and make their own nature bush puppet to take home.

Our workshop facilitator Ashlee is a qualified and experienced, early childhood educator and forest school leader who has been working as a wilderness camp leader and as a theatre puppet maker for children for nearly 10 years. She has a passion for connecting children to nature and does so through creative activities, stories and games.

Our sessions are child led, with a focus on unstructured play so the kids can play, imagine and create to their heart’s delight!

We hope you can join us!

Ages: 2-6 years
