Join us for Term 3, 2025, for our Bush Kids Forest School Families Program, for 9 weeks of bush adventures and hands-on learning, held at the stunning Birdsland Reserve in Belgrave Heights, nestled near the beautiful Dandenong Ranges on the traditional lands of the Wurundjeri People.
At Bush Kids Forest School, children will:

- Discover native plants and wildlife on guided bushwalks
- Learn rope knots, build shelters and structures using natural materials
- Safely use real tools like hammers, saws and drills
- Try their hand at whittling and woodwork
- Build bush safety skills, including snake awareness
- Create eco-art and craft using nature’s own supplies
- Campfire and cooking skills
- Enjoy nature-based games, songs, and ecological storytelling
- Deepen their connection to Country and care for the environment

Our Dandenong Ranges Bush Kids program is facilitated by Early Childhood Educator Anne.
Forest School is an all-weather outdoor program and will only be cancelled in the event of an extreme weather warning; fire, storm, high temperatures and strong winds.
Ages: 3.5 – 6 years (siblings under 18 months are welcome to attend for free).
*This is a parent-participation program – grown-ups stay and play too!
